1.      Mention the domain names used in the internet :

a.      Net = Internet service provider.

b.       Edu or ac = Educational institution or university.

c.      Co, com = Commercial company.

d.      Or, org = Non-profit organization or foundation.

e.      Mil = Military institution.

2.      Explain the steps to find information about tsunami through Google

a.      Visit Google Indonesia website (http: //www.google.co.id).

b.      Type “Tsunami” in the provided column of google. Then press enter or click Telusuri Dengan Google.

c.      Wait for a moment to display the result of the searching. Click one of link displayed on the result page. You can also open the URL of google search results on new tab/window by right-clicking on the link and selecting open in new tab or open in new window. Thus you can open several URLs all at once.

d.      Wait until the page is displayed

3.      Explain how to save a web page

a.      Click pull down of file menu on a web browser. Click save page as.

b.      Type a file name and determine the file location. Determine the file type on save as type column.

4.      Explain the steps to print a web page

a.      Click file menu on the browser which displays a web page to print.

b.      Click print menu. The print dialog box will be displayed on screen.

c.      Select a printer, page to print and number of copies. Click OK button (Mozilla Firefox) or print (Internet Explorer 7). To see the print preview, click print preview on the file menu.

5.      Explain the function of the following web browser icons :

a.      New tab : Opening a new tab (on a web browser which supports tab browsing.

b.      Back : Going to the previous page.

c.      Forward : Going to the next page

d.      Bookmark : Saving the faforite web pages
